God, I’m so tired. I don’t know how many years I’ve prayed, but all I can hear are the sounds of my creaking knees and I can’t do it any more. God, I’m so weak. I’ve tried to be strong in the faith for so long, but you’ve beaten me. The silence is utterly deafening. I can’t hear you any more. God, I’m so angry. Why don’t you do something about the hunger?
