An Innocent Soul
An innocent soul's placed
under enormous strain.
For reality's warped
in his abnormal brain.
As a bastard of lust,
he was rejected at birth.
And born schizophrenic
his life held little worth.
Delusional and trapped
his anxiety shows.
For he's always confused,
combating highs and lows.
He hears inner voices
telling him what to do.
And he can't distinguish
what is false from what's true.
In his mind, he's a child
trying his very best.
But as a man, he cries
cause he's not like the rest.
