My pulse pounds, and my heart races,
when you snuggle close as you can.
And I love your warm embraces;
they make me feel that I'm your man.
It's not enough to say I care;
words fail me, but this much is true.
I need you more than I need air;
life holds no meaning without you.
You're the epitome of love,
giving me all you have to give.
And each day, I thank God above;
He gave me a reason to live.
Your sassy smile seduced my heart,
arousing the man in the boy.
And all my doubts drifted apart,
filling my existence with joy.
I'd give you heaven if I could;
there are no words; for how I feel.
You're the best; of all that is good;
and proof that angels are real.
