All of My Dreams...

All of my dreams wear stilts these days to swing on the pine tree as she sways to reach hollow moon drops just for a taste to stand tall enough to declare their case All of my dreams aren't black and white they vibrate vermilion and fuchsia light they core into memories like they're truly alive they hold my gaze fast in a reality dive All of my dreams are dreams of you Have I mentioned the adventures we've both been through? Have I told you how close to you I feel? Have I laughed as I confess I wish they were real? All of my dreams become my mirror to focus my heart with decisions clearer to prime me with passion and hold me with hope to bristle the brim of my cup full of cope All of my dreams wear stilts these days in all of my dreams, it's you that stays It's you who corrects me, it's you who believes in all of my dreams, it's you that I grieve.
