Ah, the Tenses

Strange, how often we think on the past For it's the one thing we cannot change Yet humans just cannot grasp that truth And even I have tried to rearrange Try and try, though try we might- The past is forever locked in the past The future is only what matters now For the future- the future will last It's funny, though... How we live in the present When the present is so short a time The future is endless and endless And past is only good for a rhyme

Oh yes those past tenses try us a lot, Dover. If we could turn them loose and live the present. "And past is only good for a rhyme" great finish. Congratulations on a win, Agape, Moses

You artistically put a new twist on present, past, future. I love the way you cause us to reach out perspectively to view these. And you remind us that the future lasts eternally, for which we do well in preparing properly for it. Bless you.
