Adults You Are, Adults You Were
Remember me?
Remember then?
That's when you lost me
Way back then.
You used my innocence
To play your games
To spite each other
Pulled in separate ways
Adults you are, adults you were
A boy I was - I didn't deserve
To be your point scoring thing
It never occurred to you or him
That your boy could hurt
That your boy could feel
You broke your little boy's heart
It never healed.
