Abso-Bloomin-Lutely

Abso-bloomin-lutely I'm yours Till the sky turns a pale shade of brown When pollution sucks the air from my lungs Won't feel like being a clown Abso-bloomin-lutely I'm yours Till the evergreens curl up and die When all the rivers are flowing with sludge No laughter will come from this guy Abso-bloomin-lutely I'm yours Till the mountains are no longer pristine When cities are swimming in filth and debris And wildlife is no longer seen Abso-bloomin-lutely I'm yours Till this life no longer exists And we all just slowly fade into obscurity Know what, we won't be missed! © Jack Ellison 2012 Forgive me... not my usual upbeat happy stuff this time around!

I understand this piece. The state of the world ..the environment...war death, and sickness..can really get us down. We can only keep up being our happy warm selves as long as everything goes fine and dandy. But there is still that reality of deterioration. Thankfully there is still beauty around us. There is still so much hope. I dont mind your darker pieces. I find it very thought provoking. Always, Laura
