A Simple Act of Kindness

He held the door for the young lady who smiled at her son Just in time for the young guy to see as he soon had to run Putting a dollar in the mans jar this was noticed by a passerby As he wouldn't go that far for in this kind act he couldn't deny He stopped at the stop sign signaling the elderly woman to go That she was slow was fine for it was only patience he would show She waved to say thank you as he slowly went by and on his way And then what that woman would do in making someone else's day In finally getting to the register the young girl seemed under such stress Touching her hand and saying to her, God does not see your life as a mess In heading back out to the door the young girl said let me get that for you The little boy behind her in the store well he just learned something new Just like ripples in the pond each one was started by one simple act For it is what will happen beyond that only the Lord above can track So cause some ripples of your own and don't be shy about it Only to yourself let it be known after all it only takes a minute

I like this. Yes, "it only takes a minute" but oh it's so good as that is when you really live as that is when you let someone in :) Awesome, Vincent!
