A New Day
Awaken
For the day has begun
Drenched with kisses
From the sun
Filtering down from the heavens
Above
Glowing white
As the snow dove
Shining down like a majestic star
Shadowing down between the trees afar
Dancing and directing its warmth
To the floor
Where bees and birds search and bore
Natures in rhythm and moving sound
Winter departure has soften the ground
Bulbs are nurtured and raising above
The arrival of spring has given them a shove
Rivers are swollen and rushing with vigor
Brought on by the melting trigger
Creatures abound are eager to engender
Deer are munching new forage so tender
With such a new glorious time
It’s no wonder people are cheery
When the temperatures climb
