A Mother's Anguish

If I could have seen how dear you would have been. Then, perhaps I would not have done it. If I could have known what joy you would bring. Then, perhaps I would not have done it. If I had seen you just a little. Then, perhaps I would not have done it. Had I felt you moving inside. Then, perhaps I would not have done it. If all that happened was made known to me, then perhaps I would not have done it, for You would be with me.

Hello, Marilyn. Something to remember: God is not the author of guilt. That is something thrown at you by the evil one. God is love, forgiveness, acceptance. He takes us just as we are. He takes our mistakes and turns them into good. That's just a small part of his immeasurable love.
