A Full Moon Fool
The full moon aglow at night
Reflecting sun as its own light
Round and smooth and hovering high
Illuminating the midnight sky
Bright and shiny with a halo ring
Enticing wolves and drunks to sing
Traversing around the Mother Earth
Causing pregnant women to give birth
Moon cast shadows of mystery
In which our imaginations see
Monsters and spooks and evil goons
All dancing under the most full moons
A translucent globe in the darkened sky
Peeking out like a Cyclops eye
Of which we sing a lullaby
And Cupid aims his arrow by
Full moon, new moon, blue moon, too
How I love to gaze on you
