A Final Breath

We take a final breath, Before you enter the world of the dead. I remember the night you said, That all you could see was a bright light and red. I know the pain will be over soon. And then you can soar like a released balloon. Fly way up high into the sky, Leaving the people who are questioning why. You're on to a better place. One that can be consumed in your loving grace. While we are here trying to chase, That balloon with your memory as it escapes.
