A Blue Morning In September

Look at the horizon, What do you see? A memorial to be built, Where the Towers use to be. Thousands of people Went to work that day. Hoping to make a difference In some kind of way. When the Towers were hit, Americans arose. Not concerned about the buildings And the danger that they posed. A few years have passed, But the pain is still there. America will never forget What you've had to bare. A blue morning in September, Is when it all began. We are One Nation Under God, And together we will stand!
