A Breath of Air
A Breath of Air
By Dawn Collette Mclaughlin
Breathing in a freezing air
As it passes lips warming
Till the freshness stills
In a heated meet
Collided entwined melts.
Blood rushes throw his veins
Beating drums of his heart
Sinking in a breathless pulse
Eyes still parallel each other.
She surfs the tides slowly
Embracing every ripple of this ocean
No fear of drowning forbidden sin
Holding the hands clinching tight
Sometimes the soft wave
Turns to a torrent a tidal wave.
