Where Spirits Lay
Where spirits lay
This is a place our spirit lays,
Here when those distant memories fail,
Here by the sounds of a far of voice
Spoken for the ravages of life
Heard are words that question why,
And sometimes our heart retains them,
And often a soul in silence waits
Expressing truth and virtue
Shadows wait in a far off light
As our voiceless memories fade,
As man-kind once still stands eternal
Held to the ravages of life
Our discretion will too silent rest,
Like the sound of a quiet rain,
Like they who held the passing years
In a place where spirits lay
