We Only Live Once
Why are we all alive?
Why can we walk, when most people can't?
Why can we breathe, when most people need help?
Each and every day, that's given to us.
We take for granted.
Does getting high, really help you enjoy life?
Does getting drunk, and hurting people help?
We only live once, but who knows that?
Maybe we're reincarnated to change our ways.
But instead, we just blow it off.
We make fun of people, who have a disease.
Who are bigger than us, and might even be trying to slim
down.
Who are smarter than us, when they make the most
money.
If we live once, then why do we do these things?
Have we looked in the mirror?
We're human. We make mistakes, we hurt people, and we
hurt ourselves.
We're not fantastic. But we're human. And if we all made
peace, maybe we would have less wars going on.
Maybe people who needs help, wouldn't go out shooting.
Maybe schools would be a lot safer.
But instead, we have wars, troops to try and keep us safe,
and we have even more wars going on in each and every
state.
We're fighting for our lives, that we once took for granted.
