-this Life For You-

O, One who bled and died for me, Your death was not in vain. Was Love that held you to Calvary's tree while separation from your Father caused pain. If not that You had come for me to do what I could not on my own, it would have been me upon that tree and a life without You all I had known. But I am not left to a life without You as You rose from the dead in power. And because You did, my life is made new along with all that You've kept to this hour. O, I could never repay what You've done but I can live this life for You. You came here for me, Eternal One; What could You ask that I would not do ? Douglas L. Ace
