The Wedding
I see the guest dressed in there best
Oh how I wish that they could see the truth
As I walk down the aisle,
I see the frown of the man that
Says he loves me.
With tears running down my eyes
I can't deny that I share that same frown
But it's inside my heart
Can he see, do they know?
Should I head for the door?
What should I do, what should I say?
Will this feeling ever go away?
As he looks into my eyes, I feel butterflies
The pastor says, are you ok?
I say, yes let's be on our way
He takes my hand, and says
Do you understand that, I'm not your man
I can't say I do, cause, I never loved you
