The Spoken Word

I saw a child cry out in pain, The mothers tears she could not refrain. His hurt they said was beyond repair, The mother cried out to the Lord, this is too much for me to bear. Then a peace came upon the boy, His little face suddenly beamed with joy. He said momma did you see Jesus holding my hand? He said I’m okay and that some things were not for us to understand. She called for the doctor and he quickly returned, And he examined the boy with new tests, he was amazed, he was concerned. There is not a trace, it’s gone, and I don’t understand why, All the previous tests, they do not lie! The previous diagnosis for the boy was grim, It was consuming his body and had crippled his limbs. A tumor so large embedded deep in the lads brain, How could it disappear, not a single trace did remain. Jesus can cure with just a spoken word, if we have faith and we believe, From the darkest of darkness, he will be our light, he will not leave. Our love and respect is such a small price to pay, Let Jesus be the light that lights your way.
