Stand By My Man

Every beat of my heart Hanging from the stars Savoring the beating of his heart Like a piece of art Never losing hope from above My heart just wants his love Always keeping a flame aglow Letting my warmth of my heart flow I stand by my man Holding on and not letting go Giving all that I can I hold in my hands Shards of broken pieces A heart so broken and scarred A heart so much in love The silence in the air of fears My voice awakes with tears Let him laugh, let him cry One more time I will try I stand by my man Holding on and not letting go Giving all that I can 9/22/2015

Thank you, Michael, I have a wonderful husband. My mom was the inspiration for this poem. It hurt to always see her broken but her love for my dad was very deep. Hugs Eve
