Songs In the Night
Though I am troubled by problems and cares,
My faith will not falter, my heart will not fear.
For God is my Captain, and He’s in control.
He is my keeper, and He watches over my soul.
When I walk by faith as far as I can go,
He extends His hand, and reaches way down low.
He says, “Child don’t be afraid- I know the way,”
“Trust me- soon there’ll be a brighter day!”
So I trust Him- frail man that I am.
For I know that He is God, and He has a master plan.
Though I am heavy-hearted, and cannot walk by sight,
Continually I shall praise Him-
For He gives songs in the night.
