One Dove

Daylight breaks, I'm long awake Songs of the lone dove resonate I read your words my hearts a flutter you're the one unlike no other The peerless sun shines and I feel your warmth in every line and every verse I feel your soul in every page and every stanza I pray I pray the lone dove finds her mate I pray for hope and I pray for love For peace, for wisdom and for grace When the winds blow strong and the storms roll through I'll calm your force and hold you true
