Faithfulness of Seasons

Each day the sun rises Dependable light source The birds sing your praises With fervent joy of course Fall follows summer now Season of slower pace The farmer puts away plow Rural life a different race Winter brings very own challenge With a chill all around That sun keeps on rising Even the birds slow their sound Then one day Son triggers An awakening to those resting No longer is it winter Spring's voice is calling

Hey Sarah this is so very lovely, God Bless xx P.S. My bresthe poem-when I got out of the shower this morning, I suddenly realised that is was based on Smlie, though your heart is breaking,etc.. song-panicked for a bit, because I thought I'd committed plagiarism! :-)

a very good one Sara, sometimes i just ask myself, do we people see how the sun never refuses to come out and shine every morning and i feel inspired motivated that i should never hesitate to do what is right.

Indeed, the seasons are ever changing and the sun never ceases to rise, though it sets earlier in the winter, Sara. I like the way you described how the "Son," our Lord, triggers the awakening of spring. Lovely poem, Sara. Best wishes, Carolyn

Sara, thanks for the heads up! I did notice the last stanza but only after I read it again and I could not go back and edit my comment.. Would be awesome that day when the Master calls those that belongs to Him.. Thank you for your kind comments today as well.. Hope your Tuesday will be a blessed one ;)
