Echo Sonnet
-echo-
Like a wolf to the moon, my words will reach far and echo,
But if they will ever reach you, even the future has no answer,
I will simply have to hope that my voice will reach further.
For now, these hopes that I have of you hearing, I’ll let go.
All this pain that I suffer, it seems that you’ll never know.
Time is said to make all the worry disappear in thin air,
And eventually my heart would heal, so I shouldn’t care.
For now, these hopes that I have of you hearing, I’ll let go.
Time is a river and my voice will not go against the flow.
Looking up, I shout to whatever is up there, the sun, a star,
The stratosphere, even to the Earth, hoping to reach far.
For now, these hopes that I have of you hearing, I’ll let go,
Like a wolf to the moon, my words will reach far and echo,
But now, I’ll give up hope of you hearing and let go.
