" Devil's Wind "

Off from shore our boat she flew, Slice the fog drink the dew. Devil's wind at our ear, We who sail with never fear. Round dark rocky end of bay, Sodden lighthouse gleams our way. Into sea of storm hewn gray. We sail so on just this day. Fraught with tempest in her rage, Simple sailor thus wizened sage. Against her winds or fury savage, Masters toil as tempests ravage. Glory hath she in wildest notion, As all her seas she sets to motion. High her waves or fierce her winds, None compare with sailor's sins. SeaWolf ©
