As Spring Arrives
Butterflies wink as spring arrives
A heady feast into a glossed night,
Silky the threads in moonlit dives
Fluttering on groves to delight
Robed by leaves, a precious sight!
Under shades of green, dappled trees
Hued monarchs invite birds to croon
A tweet of love songs for May’s trapeze;
Plumes spreading like a laced festoon
To wander off, then back to swoon!
A Spring Day in English Quintain
