A Dream
In peaceful sleep in dreams adrift
She rests upon a cloud of bliss
Where serenity is slumber's gift
And all her troubles are dismissed
Her golden locks, a gentle waterfall
As upon her shoulders it cascades
She hears the dream weaver's call
As one dream comes and the other fades
A fairy tale princess awaiting her prince
Her ruby lips desire his kiss
And as he approaches, she's convinced
That he will bring her back from death's abyss
And in the morning her prince will gleam
As he lights the path of her pleasant dreams
