A Book I Read

T’was a book I read not long ago, Told of foreign places and disasters and woes. Much blood was spilled in those days of old, It also spoke of riches of silver and gold. Hardships were many but were a part of life, And how they survived this life so full of strife. It told of kings and slaves and ordinary men, And the way things were a way back then. It spoke of travel and the way they went, Then it told of a fathers love and the son he sent. It told of how the son a carpenter by trade, Would give his own life for a debt that had to be paid. A debt that separated man from his father above, But blood built the bridge so we all now can share His precious sweet love. The debt has been paid by God’s only Son, So we all can receive salvation each and everyone. So give thanks and praises each and everyday, Hallelujah to the Lord, thank You my Father for guiding my day!

Hi Ronald, what magnificent write, but it feel so good to know that not only Jesus but also our heavenly father Jehovah God, did this so that we could be forgiven of our sins, John chapter 3 verse 16, God loved the world so much that he gave his only be-gotten son as a ransom sacrifice so that everyone excersising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

God has a plan for each of us. He is Love, He is Goodness, and if we let Him, He will give us everlasting life, but He can only offer. Thank you for sharing this lovely poem. Always, Christy

I have read the Bible at least 20 times all the way through. and everytime I read it again, I learn something new. This was a very good message. enjoyed it. thank you for reading my Another solider fell today and for your comment. no we sometimes have to fight wars in order to keep our freedom, or to stop others from doing harm to our country. but it is always the young that seem to die the most.
