Whispered Words

has it been twelve years, since you went far away, it feels like yesterday, mother dear . . . I miss you so much, your laughter and your smile, mom, you were my best friend, in this world . . . how can I forget, your last day on this earth, when you whispered to me, I love you . . . and I realize, the incredible gift, I was given that day, whispered words . . . how many can say, they heard those words of love, whispered in the last breathe, before death . . . ___________________ March 26, 2013 Poetry/Verse/Melancholy/whispered words Copyright Protected, ID 03-466-507-26 All Rights Reserved, 2013, Constance La France

Great love becomes Great comfort . My wife died in 09 and now when I think about her I always smile. It will be a comfort remembering her love . Be the person she always knew you were and are.

Beautiful form and beautiful poem, Constance...Yes, you are fortunate to have had those words whispered to you...I think the reason was because you were the most important person in her life - Tim

I'm lucky to still have my Mom, and I do treasure every day we have together! This moment you have with your mother is very special and you will never forget it, I am sorry you had to lose your Mom, but at least you heard those tender words from her! This is a special poem my friend! I enjoyed reading it this afternoon! What an amazing piece, Great Work!!
