BONSOIR

The memories can tell us what we were and what we became We passed the fields in rain and sunshine I wish I could say that life was perfect It grew weeds in our garden, not everything was easy The important thing is not where you are, but where you are going On our journey there became so much more Millions of footprints with valued prize Sorrow and tears but never sad goodbye Our smiles and happiness makes me love you more I gave you my heart, could not love anyone but you We lived, now we have come to the end of the road God's garden is beautiful, let us sit here until the sun goes down 18.03.2016 A-L Andresen :)

The ending sounds nearly as sweet as the beginning ... if the life is well lived, perhaps this is so. Positive and reflective work, Anne.

Such a lovely poem which speaks volumes, Anne Lise! I like how you describe this life journey where love keeps two people close to each other for so many years. But you are not yet at the end of the road....may you enjoy many more years together:) Hugs ~~ paul

I like this poem very much. The very first line is a eye grabber. "Sorrow and tears but never sad goodbye" very touching and authentic. I think it's A7. Peace young lady:)
