Life

When I was young time had a way of moving so slow, Always in a hurry to do things we were restricted from, you know. Then one day you cross over that time barrier, Everything is accelerated as your face gets hairier. Life takes on a new meaning as you are suddenly thrust forward, And you suddenly find out time is only borrowed. Like a pebble that starts off rolling from the top of the hill, Just gains in momentum like it’s part of the deal. Once you start rolling down that hill there is nothing that can be done, You can’t stop or slow it down so just hang on and hope it’s fun. When you reach the bottom of the hill it means it’s all over my friend. There’s no more climbing back you’ve finally reached the end. Some hills are taller while others are short. Some of us never reach full speed before reaching the end part. I think what I am trying to say is enjoy life everyday, Look for only the good you’ll enjoy it much better that way. When you look to the bad you’ll find many dark clouds, And you’ll be looking at life with your eyes cover by a shroud. The more we put into life the more we receive, If you plant bad in your life it will cause you to grieve. The good should be nourished like a newborn child, Attended lovingly, never allowed to grow wild. Always plant seeds of hope wherever you go, Your harvest will be great for the Bible says it’s so. Always be the first with a handshake or a nod, And the main thing on your plate always trust in our God.
