My Hero's

What some call handicaps others call a way of life, They make the most out of hardships and strife. They meet life and all of its problems head on, Never from their lips come a moan or a groan. To them life is a precious thing, They fought hard to be here and you can hear it in the songs they sang. Like maybe walking to us is no big deal, But to those who have no legs can you imagine the way they might feel. What about maybe no arms or hands, That would be such a hardship I doubt I could stand. When this is all there is and there is nothing more, You might think the Lord has given up on you for sure. But the ones I’ve met don’t hold no grudge against the man up above, They see Him as an instrument of love. For one day they will all stand toe to toe, Cause no one will be handicapped in Heaven for this they know. A glorified body will be their reward, For trusting in Jesus when life had really been hard. They’ll be like everyone else who has earned the right, Standing tall in Heaven no more battles to fight.
