A retrospective look at one of the old "Nursery Rhymes"

…and that’s the truth Hey diddle, diddle the cat and the fiddle the cow jumped over the moon the little dog laughed to see such fun and the dish ran away with the spoon “JIMMY!!!!” How many times have I told you…. don’t leave the fiddle where the cat can get at it?” “MAN, DUDE, if they ever legalize this sh.. everyone will find out about that cow.” “DAMN!! Fiddles and fumes, fiddles and fumes.” “You’d laugh too if you saw that culinary couple running from the “munchies”. Hey diddle, diddle the cats now in Nashville the cow’s on a flight to Mars The dog’s in a rehab in Denver the dish and the spoon – tending bar. John G. Lawless 11/5/2016
