When I Put My Hand In HIS When I first accepted Jesus, I truly didn’t know what this relationship was all about, I didn’t understand about a heart that is fully surrendered to HIM how to trust and walk with Him but, my heart wanted all of Him and to that there was no doubt. So a few years later after many, many trials and my crying out to HIM from my bedroom floor, I put my hand in HIS and unconditionally surrendered all my life and oh so much more! That day I put my hand in His I knew in my heart that this agreement was going to be forever; it was not a snap decision or judgment or call or foolish move but it would be my life time’s endeavor. You see, He called me from my mother’s womb to become a child of His, and I searched and searched for Him at times without success because it was for Him that I chose to live. Where else would I go, the Apostle Peter said for He alone has the Words of life and truth, and He alone never changes but remains a solid Rock so really how could I lose? Has it all been fun and games no, no many, many trials but my God has brought me through, painful and yes fearful at times but He has never left me alone nor, will He ever do! He and I have a written agreement and He has signed His signature in His own Blood, what a God how can I but love Him for dying and rising for me a mere piece of clay or sod! It has been an interesting and sometimes lonely walk with my God with just Him holding on to my hand, and at times of weakness or doubt I feel that grip gets stronger till at last His love I know now on it I can depend. Yes, I say at last I will once again see Him face to face and in that day He will usher me in, in through the gates of Beautiful Heaven where I’ll always yes, always live and be with Him.
