Poem
The World Trade Center’s Call to America Nervously this worker was running late he knew taking his baby to their designated pre-school then as he arrived on this tragic scene he was not prepared for what he was about to view. His co-workers in the towers were working at a fevered pitch at the pile of papers which sat on their desk a sudden jerking of the building by them went unnoticed for they could have not comprehended this out of the ordinary day of work or much less. It had happened so suddenly one plane struck – but then, oh my God there were two and the towers which from the 60’s were deemed a landmark suddenly tumbled down to ground zero so, now what must we do? As these two symbols of America’s freedom crumbled by impact, and a jet fueled fire caused wreckage to cover much of Manhattans’ exclusive ground we see a rise of patriotism with our flag flying high along with God’s precious name all now seen to abound. There were some who were panicked by the fire and troubled so deep by such intense fear who jumped through an opening in the building a refuge beyond these shambles they thought it seemed in their minds to be so clear. Others once again cheated death while sending shock waves through their minds if it were me, they ask themselves, “Am I ready to face this Holy God on His terms and His chosen time”? Yes, revival is coming to our blessed and great land it is true but, what kind of price tag will it be no God did not send this destruction on us but, it is America’s wake up time for you and for me.
