Poem
Undeniable passion under the eventide moon, we touch- ivory laced nape, we lay and watch the constellations shine through the sky of indigo - lost in innocent breath... -I can’t believe you’re mine. To me you are the rays of hues beneath a rainbow- Red…orange…yellow… green…blue…purple…they all shine as your eyes do, sweetheart. I see frost on the sill in the morning and I know your arms will awake to warm my chill. -I can’t believe you’re mine. Contentment does not speak our language. For we are way passed that. We have fallen into heavenly bliss- Your embrace preaches pure intuitions of each other’s romantic endeavors. I needed you at sixteen years old and I still need you at thirty-six- in deep love are we. We make the perfect team, YOU and I… -I can’t believe you’re mine. As the days pass and the night's twilight embrace shadows within our deep connection, I will never forget our first kiss. Quickly tender with my anxiety heated- …heart racing…faster and faster… ….into oblivion. -I can’t believe you’re mine. Written: September 27, 2016 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Us…a connection so strong beneath the brightest constellations. Me, searching for the smallest hint of love, and you searching for the biggest part of your life. We were made to love each other as only lovers are... -I can’t believe you’re mine. Sweet honeyed blossoms blooming in the mid-summer heat, we dance and sweat together, as one. We lay under the sheets in harmony and express our most intimate desires. Romance is ours and so is this night... -I can’t believe you’re mine. Far off distant lands know our love and they are willing to travel to know it. They read verses upon verses in our journals dedicated to each other’s embrace and passion. Before time was invented I loved you and before the moon’s first rise, your heart called my name... -I can’t believe you’re mine. Can anyone else understand what we are? Are there any more words to write for us? There have been days of hunger and nights of pure bliss and all I can say is thank you, my sweet. The light of your love showers over my existence and I am forever grateful... -I can’t believe you’re mine. Written: October 18, 2016
