Poem
On one dark and stormy night… on a local, lonely, wind swept moor, A very young and slightly mad scientist did some craziness, for sure. Now mind you, he was only 3 years young, but, yet, still a science nerd, His binky and blankie well in hand, a genius he’d become, was the word. Yes, you guessed it, with a screwdriver firmly held, in his widdle hand, On that historic night… a robotic Franken Dragon, made his first stand. Unfortunately, he could go no further, than his itsy bitsy, extension cord. But alas, and a lack, suddenly a lightening bolt hit, and he was ALIVE!!! Whatever programming he had… had… it was now fried… Oh how sad! At that very moment, our Dragon flew by; here we go again, so ironclad! Yep, he followed our Dragon, everywhere, trying to be like our little guy. First our Dragon jumped upon a bale of hay, and then went up into the sky. Franken Dragon destroyed every bale, and wondered: Why can’t I also fly? Dragon was now almost out of sight, so Franken Dragon ran fast, with a cry! An outhouse was directly in his way, so Franken Dragon threw it down the hill. Rolling to the bottom of the hill, our Sheriff of Crazyland crawled out, not thrilled. Yep, he was covered in nasty things, and mad as a mad hatter, plus ready to swing. When he got up the hill, he followed the footsteps, with handcuffs ready to bring. Dragon was about to be framed, for Franken Dragon’s, not so great escapades. APB’s went out, all over the place, so Grandpa Troll was sent, to help in spades. Our imposter now lost sight of our guy, so his frustrations, rose high as the sky. He went into a pasture close by, to start tipping cows like dominoes, you guys! Well, what do you expect? I say, most bold, for he was only, a few hours old! Poor cows, poor Franken Dragon, yet there is more for you to see, I am told… Franken Dragon Roared his flustrations… waking everyone up, from miles away. The mooing brought the farmers, with pitchforks, and the Sheriff along the way! But by now Franken Dragon had stomped away, he was quite safely, out of sight. Just as our poor, real Dragon came flying back, from along the way, in his flight. Innocent or not, there’d be hell to pay; as curious Dragon, flew down right away. But fortunately for us, Grandpa Troll, yep he arrived just in time, to save the day. Grandpa Troll, put Dragon behind him, as he noticed the farmers barn wall… Franken Dragon had walked up a wall, over a roof, but had left in his sprawl… His muddy footprints for all to see! Now how about that, to save the day! Those footprints said ‘Made in China’ on the bottom left hand side! Hooray! Our Dragon was saved! But a mystery was afoot… But just at that moment… The young mad scientist arrived with his Mom in a car… Sorry’s were said. He called Franken Dragon to take him home, as Dragon finally met this stray! Naturally, they hit it off well, and remained great friends in their childish play. Tho in the two Dragons, the Sheriff of Crazyland only saw, his own doomsday. Now all that’s left to say is: Happy Halloween! And it was a Great News Day! Written 9-29-2016
