Accept Me For Me Verse 1 I never came with a manual Never came with directions Yet every time I turn around Someone asking me questions Like what you like to do? Do you like to have fun How would you like it, if I was your number one If I could change, something's about you I mean I like you what can we do Were you trying to change my image, was I trying to see That there's someone genuily, loves everything about me And try to help More than anything, just accept (Chorus) Accept that none of us are perfect But in the end it could all be worth it Stop trying to make yourself Something that you're not Someone who can finally see That there's still some good in me The best feeling ever felt When you accept Verse 2 I have flaws, mess up everyday I'm always just a phone call away He likes the way I laugh He keeps me with a smile He made all my past friendships Have me thinking Wow Never did I know That I could have a glow I had gave up, on falling on love you know Then he came and swept me Oh yea he kept me I questioned myself why? No scratch that It feels good for someone to have your back Pick you up, when you down Turn your world around Its so true,I mean you The bond that we have now Stick together like glue (ooohhhhh) Chorus) Accept that none of us are perfect But in the end it could all be worth it Stop trying to make yourself Something that you're not Someone who can finally see That there's still some good in me The best feeling ever felt When you accept (Hook) Accept your flaws Don't worry we all Have them Yes regardless you're still the best Accept your flaws Don't worry we all Have them Yes regardless you're still the best Chorus) Accept that none of us are perfect But in the end it could all be worth it Stop trying to make yourself Something that you're not Someone who can finally see That there's still some good in me The best feeling ever felt When you accept Repeat until chorus fades Written by:Concetta Hardnett 9/6/2016t
