Poem
MOTHER NATURE I woke up feeling cool in my room Got up and stretched my hands to the roof Checking the time, it was few minutes to noon Had to dash out to the loo else I go against the rule and I'll be booked. As the shower running Likewise was my heartbeat running I tried doing some humming May be I could clear my Mind from turning Alas it was too loud to know the water was skin burning I remembered the time and knew I was late I tried all I could but couldn't just beat the rate Still I dashed out of my gate as I paced in haste. In less than a month I'll add to my age This's to tell me I'm now of age I've bn a fine boy even at my stage I never stopped being one, you need to check out my page Life has shown me sides, yet I keep my rage It's time for me to think before it's too late This work won't give me joy forever Nor the job keeping me fit moreover Grey hair springing out like never Even the girls now reply me "whatever" But I don't give a damn whatsoever It's time to leave the wilderness and wander less Only God knows where I'll find myself next Round the country I've been in each I try building my nest Yet I've never found a place of rest Mother nature behold your son wandering in the dunes of life He's got no place to rest, but he's just alive He's journeyed for decades yet never arrived Be merciful and beam on his path a shining light Mother nature mother nature Can't keep toiling like this all my years I live my life but all in fear Day and night I soak my nest in tears When I tread through the ice, I dread the polar bears When I'm depressed I soak myself in bear With this I break the heart of my dears Mother nature the oracle of existence Save your son from the grip of this fierce pestilence I've tried to be great with every persistence I fortified my heart with resilience But the worth of my life is evident even in my residence Rescue me before I get drowned Can't continue to have my hair brown I want my health sound and my frame round Let me not be continually called a clown Never wait till I go deep six feet down This is when I need to be crowned.
