Poem
>First, we own no fishing fleet. A fleet that’s ours, catching fish, for us to eat. I hope that last line, does sound right. As of our fishing fleet, I have no sight. Digging coal from online (I said mines Dragon.) No one does that that here this time. I know it’s early in the day. But no one mines coal here anyway. Shipbuilding, well we build some. But not like we did in days gone by. I doubt of ships, if you now buy. If large are built here, I do not lie. Motor vehicles we assemble here. No companies are owned by us, I hear. Foreign cars, we all drive I fear. Assembled only, as I’ve already said, not owned over here. Iron Ore mines we have now none. Steel works we still do have some. Alas foreign companies bought us out. Now closing us, what’s that about? I’m sorry if I have missed you. Manufacturing clothes we do now not do. That’s all gone overseas. And boots and shoes, bet you’re pleased. Back now if I must to reality. Between the EU and those countries overseas. Those I mean that bought us out. Really means GB has lost its clout. In the really, good days of old. We fished, mined coal, and built ships. I’m told. Manufactured clothes, to keep as warm, in the cold. I’m wearing my Harris Tweed jacket today be told. Although confess, it’s very old. It seems the EU rules are not fair. If we want to leave, we can’t. So if we vote to keep GB in. Never can GB from the EU part! Rules like that before we vote. Make me feel I want to poke. My British tongue at the EU. And tell them what to blinking do. But modesty forbids me so. I won’t tell them where to go. I’ll let them all find that out. When I vote not to stay in, but get out. Then with the money we do save. Build Great Britain up again. All UK united too. Yes that’s what I would blinking do. Farmer’s feed us from our land. Fishermen fish fish you can land. Industries supply our work. British folk from work should not shirk. Oh yes, come on, all of you. Tell the EU what to do. And while I’ve got your attention, true. Get our Lotto back here too. If we spend here, what we have got. All will be well as I’m not a clot. As all our cash goes overseas. No wonder GB is on its knees. So if you want GB to be great. Vote out on 23rd of June, mates. By mates, I mean all of you. Who are British? Not just yet. Permanently. EU.
