Poem
gripping numbness ripples across my face, infinite timed tears burn through my skin, glittering a fire of unrivaled suffering grief beyond measure rips apart my psyche, keening at a moonless sky I am bereft of my star, mourning an existence in pain filled with belief of miracles all is lost, stop the clock mark the time, the name, mine, pack my horses Pa I'm on the long muster an avalanche blocks uncertain futures, an effortless hope once lied fingerless, every rocket launch failed to reach orbit amounting to nought, I am falling to earth as the ash of ash, the dust of dust stumbling steps will halt their gait tearing eyes will dry, the pain, the agony in the heart of my soul and body, will end no words of sympathy erase the inevitable, no act or deed can halt a steady march to death when the breathes that rise my chest, stop, when I find a peace in which I can eternally be, this agony will have ceased a horrendous burden lifted away my one last regret is to have seen the power of love, my deepest feelings warmed in it's audience, Yet nay, I've never felt its eternal glory I am a mother of miracles loving them with every breath, I have been a student of breathtaking intellects, observing absolute joy in the ways of happiness I've been witness to the greatest of man, and of terrifying evil executing the knight's Whole species have altogether disappeared, whole countries crumbled under dictators a chasm forms writhing death, screaming aches clench and burn tied to the stakes I don't want to see anymore grant me absolution give me permission to fly into the firmament common sense, isn't quite as common as it seems, and true love is as rare as rocking horse shit I wasn't meant to be this life wasn't for me, I've wasted all my time now I am lost in rhyme yet, ever fearful of a drought of words, is to have never been seen or even heard talking to the father unto him I pass my cares, nary a sound or cry falls to suffer with the fears Time will regretfully arrive to say adieu, to kiss you goodnight that's not here yet my darlings I'll can have infinities forevers, granted true love finds life mayday, mayday, mayday I am crashing, in flames SOS !! I am an inferno, yet, in all this ? I still burn, to live to arise alight a fire of love.
