Spiritual beings blessed by a grace from on high, angelical creatures Soaring between sunlight and twilight’s over cast of shadows, Hush now be still, listen children of humanity for the swooshing Of their ivory wings ever lightly beating against the currents Of infinity! Perfections gliding figures of everlasting beauty, unbound, Cascading within the torrents storms, laughing with pure joy for Life’s excels in the rheum of every tear drop cast down from The Heavens above, behold loves devotional, these the angels Living amongst us! As soft as a flake of newly fallen snow, gently landing upon The harden earth below, invisibly touching us, enriching us, Delicately guiding us, along a path of the unknown, these White lambs whom are led by a mightier shepherd, who Whispers on tranquilities breezes of the heights beyond! In a hero’s inspirational acts see them smile, these muses Of light without sound, within the joyous cry of a newly Born child’s first sounding, behold revelations miracle, A soul of the sparrow delivered, by these angels walking Amongst us! In the wild flowers glen let the children wonder freely, Dreaming timeless thoughts of purity, without strife Or torments abusive hands clasping at the them, in this World of slumbering lullaby’s cradled by the loving arms Of the invisible, here watching ever over the next generation, Yes, angels are amongst us! When life’s doors seamlessly slam shut, and the worlds Light has been vanquished without hopes redemption, And the soul of humanity teeters, on the last lines tightrope Of resolution, almost art thou ready to give up falling Unto temptations net unsheathed, yet can you not feel An unspoken balance! In the chamber lit bedroom of the broken hearted lover, One flame stands strong against the winds of pain, It’s strengths never wavers or flickers in the darkness, For in reality’s harsh silhouette a gentle invisible hand Wipes away the moisture from the tarnished pillow shame, Be comforted dearest, for an angel of devotion will help The healing begins with the mornings rising light! Even in the blackest pits of angers warring factions, As a gun’s bullet rushes into deaths realm of finality, And a living soldier’s last breath is expelled in freedoms Name, yes angels walk amongst us, kneeling, shielding The righteous from the dark shadows whom are encroaching, To rise upwards cradling this spiritual child, bringing him home At last to his father’s holy kingdom! Yes, I believe in angels don’t you? BY: CHERYL ANNA DUNN
