Poem
A bleached and frozen moon Loomed over a frigid November sky And like a bad omen loosed from Pandora's box It chilled my spirit inside. I saw millions of people crying on their knees Dead children limp within their arms Those left alive screaming in agony Who would cause this kind of harm. Then a voice spoke to my spirit Saying we ourselves caused all this pain By abusing all our freedoms. And turning away from God again. We wanted things our own way And sadly God had to let us go. And we walked away from his protection Now we are reaping what we sowed God won't interfere with our free will Originally this was a gift from him But we abused it and lost his mercy When we chose to live in sin. Only one hope left for our dying race. To fall upon our knees. And ask him for his mercy. To escape this visions agony
