Poem
Encounter :Beginning A wailing jolted out of dream forced from suspension my liquid world I feel then strangling me the hands of anxiety so starved for attention so starved for nourishment the world has come to open my eyes the journey of me begins substance received back to the dream violated, stripped to bones compelled to make you understand my soul, my being . . . me Continually ravished to become a part of an ever stronger current more than I care to admit. Encounter :The World Carried and carrying supported and supporting I swept joyfully along until the monster came and swallowed me whole no where to go I encamped inside trying red dreams tasting the white flashes feeling the churn the title wave within I rotted from inside out. A sweet perfume to you until you sucked me dry and you spewed me from your belly into knifing silence bitter cold I am alone. Encounter:Lover You found me, clothed sitting on a rock of self importance disillusioned and everything in between You nursed me back to health I sucked on your breast of self worth and returning to my liquid world You found the shell of something human. blinding me to see what I could be bought for. Your price to me- invaluable To You I am rare jewels You asked me once If what I wanted I was sure In response I handed you my world My soul, my being . . . me You washed me my nakedness, becoming transparency You bathed me in light wrapped me in your soul tied me with a ribbon of kisses Encounter:Free We sit on a rock of love I in you You in me Heart to heart Breast to breast Soul to Soul Encounter: Ending I found You laying on the beach of life soaked from head to toe You were a patchwork of many pieces, worn and frayed and everything in between You tore at your chest exposing a ball of light That as I watched began to fade You named it soul and threw it to the sea liquid dark consumed it you sighed melting into a bird you took flight towards the sun. Swallowing it whole Encounter: Alone I found me sitting on a rock of life shifting between conscienceness And everything in between How long have I veen sitting Far too long I scream I hit the ground running . . . intent on silver black waters My chest falls open exposing a fading moonbeam I erupt, scattering stars from here to eternity.
