Poem
Raise the flag of liberation, let the bells Of freedom ring, but most of all let us thank These men and women of valor, on the behalf Of the United States of America. To bravery’s finest, we salute the sacrifices You’ve made on our behest, to the fallen Solider we prayer in thy honor, may your Journey’s end find you with the winds of Peace always at your backs, and thy souls Be at rest at last. With reverences pride these soldiers of liberty, Bare the weapons of freedoms justified cause, In the name of their nation, their people, And their beliefs of equity. Rock the battle hymens of history, Let the strumming drummers play forever Onwards, allow it’s echoing sounding to be Heard in the darkest pit of war, for these Brethren of America need know they Stand on the shoulders of generations, Whom have fought in the cause of the Righteous fight, for liberty and justice for all. On this day of homage, and memorial’s honor, Let us remember those gallant men of arms, The decorated and lowly service men, Whom have given their best, in the name of Freedom and liberty. Raise the flag of liberation, let the bells Of freedom ring, but most of all let us thank These men and women of valor, on the behalf Of the United States of America. With reverences pride these soldiers of liberty, Bare the weapons of freedoms justified cause, In the name of their nation, their people, And their beliefs of equity. There is a tomb in Washington D.C. That stands for the Unknown Soldier, A flame burns in front of it for those lost, In battle. But in the hearts of all Americans, No solider is truly forgotten, or left behind, For his American spirit lives within us all, And on this Memorial Day we thank him, For his eternal service, his flame shall never Be extinguished.
