THE GRANDSHIP HISTORIA Come, let us explore the Grandship Historia; taller and wider than imagination! Our guest passes allow us to visit as it sails on uncharted waters along the cosmic ocean of Eternaus. Before, in grand ship building times formation became the clue to her enigmatic journeys, of how when and where she will travel and the purpose of her visits. Where is she going? Where has she come from? All will be shown through portholes set in non-sequential order on its countless levels. From the lowest tier hanging like an iceberg sequestered below to keep its secrets hidden. in the depth of cold waters, the first porthole begins the first story. Among the rooms within the rooms we see in the corner a sensuous garden replete with beauty and delight and home to one Adom and one Chava new to the territory where the start begins and mankind becomes alive. A veil of light crosses between rooms and time melds through from one into the next. Now we see Cain and Abel about the land stricken and ripped with strife where only one survives. Further up on different decks portholes are splashed with blood and gore and each of the enclosed rooms resonate with the horrific sounds and sights of war and pestilence. In stark contrast standing beside the portholes of war light shines forth glory and awe from the porthole of earthly wonder. Colors blend into pictures of green and red and orange and blue and strains thereof. Trees and valleys and fields and flowers blossom and grasses flourish and all animals and insects go about their bidding. And if you would, ladies and gentlemen, please turn your attention to the porthole stippled "Love". Notice that in this unrestricted area lies the beating heart of this resplendent ship. Observe the interconnected series of complex uncompleted constructions of slippery surfaces. They appear worn and widely traveled and each one shows signs that indicate bravado, fanfare, compassion and caring all built upon the tarred and stone riddled pavement. Each one leading to a different room. Every pothole's brief illumination occurs in a fraction of an instant then morphs chronographically into the next and the next and the next going directionally forward leaving a wake while heading towards a place in the now. The Grandship Historia sails along without knowing where the tides and currents will take her. Unaware of storms and turbulent seas she moves ahead powered only by the engine of time. On the Bridge, the Captain with holy wisdom certain steers the ship as it cruises to Destiny's ports. C.A.K. 12-21-2012 Somehow I have the feeling that most readers don't quite get this poem. The Grandship Historia is about the History of man metaphorically written. Eternas is the time space continuum that she floats on. The levels are all the things that occur in man's journeys throughout the ages. We, who exist in the here and now cannot fathom why we are here and why things actually happen the way they do. In the end, the Captain (God) knows and steers the ship accordingly. Once again, it is somewhat of an existential view of life.
