Poem
Escaping into my only pleasurable paradise, each and every time I talk to you. I always seem to find out a little bit more about you, as well as discovering unknown parts of me. Discovering the many ways I could love you. Building up our walls of trust in each other, so that the hatred from others won’t cause damage to our hearts. Or should I say our love? Keeping it away from anything else that might make us fall apart. I don’t want to fall apart, but just to fall in love. That’s IF and only IF you are there to catch me with your gentle touch. Is this love real? Is this all a joke? So confused by the way that you love me. Making me heavy with lust and admire. Hopefully the weight of my love will anchor me in your heart, or into the depths of your soul. So that I know I’ll always be with you, physically or not. Could you be the “love of my life” or should we try and build a “life of love” on our own. Regardless of our fate, or whatever, whoever has planned for us? I’m willing to take that risk, only if you’ll be my knight in shining armor to save me from all my fears or to be one of my many pillows that usually soaks up all my lonely tears. Or to be the solid wall I lean on when all odds are against me, or to be my sacred angel of love that comes and sets me free. Free of all my worries. Free of all my pain. Free from myself. You have introduced to me a light that shines into my life, that always seem to brighten my day, even on the darkest days. Your radiance of love sets my soul on fire. Burning and yearning for YOU and only YOU. People may ask “Why are you glowing with so much happiness?” That’s when I will gladly and solemnly reply, “I have found the captain of my heart. He sails the seas of my tears, and conquers all my fears.” Together we’ll move forward. This is not another Romeo and Juliet rendition, but we’re writing and recording a “fairytale” of our own. We’re “loving to live”, but also “living to love”. Living to breathe, YOU that is. You are now the thing that is keeping me going Thank you for loving all of me
