Curly ( Part II ) Mary was so proud of her new friend. Now it was time to feed Curly. Mary did just that. Everyone fell in love with Curly right away. It was a happy day for everyone. From that day on, Mary and Curly did not seperate, only when she went to school. She would bathe him, feed him and play with him. Mary would always feed him, before going to school and when she came home, he would go and greet her. Curly was very playful and everyday he got cutter. everybody loved him. Mary could not have been happier. They were very happy together. Curly did not grow too much. Three Summers went by. The two of them had a lot of fun. We all know that nothing lasts forever and everything comes to an end. It was a hot Summer day and Mary was outside watering the Lawn. she had not seen Curly in a while and wondered where he could be. All of a sudden she saw him coming down the street on the opposite side. That made her happy. As she kepted looking at him - she knew that something was wrong. He didn't look right. Curly crossed the street and came to her. There he laid down by her feet. She bend down to touch him and he just looked at her. He looked weak. She went inside and told her parents. Her father came out to check on him. Then very sad - he told Mary that Curly was dead. Mary could not believe it and she started to cry. she could not stop crying. Her father told her - Curly knew that you loved him and he loved you too. He had enough stength to come and say good bye. He is now in dog Heaven where good little dogs go. He will be happy with the Lord. Mary looked up to Heaven and smiled. She knew her father was right. God was his owner now. the End.... 04/26/2013 Written by Lucilla M. carrillo. Note: The name was changed, but it really happened to me. Curly was my first puppy....
