Poem
If I can make it home I swear I've learned how to be a better man If I survive tonight I promise to never leave again I've seen so much blood and anxiety I have to take down with my cigarette Standing in the middle of war I slept in dirt Alone and with brothers Never losing grip on our riffles Always watching As sun went down Many moon's we cried as we could only look at the picture of our loves ones Stories we told to each other We were able to bring a laughter But one night As the clouds swallow the moon And the wind blew wildly cold That demon fell down to us Some where asleep I in that night stood watching with my riffle ready Then we flew away Down the cliff And there my story begins: I won't deny, I tough I was dead, but there I knew I was still breathing, with one of my partners I stood from the ground we fell to, as we overheard man in pain up in the cliff, we knew the enemy spotted us, we needed a second plan and backup, all i could think of... The last day I kissed your lips my love, you where my only hope there, as we found our way around the mountain and set up to the cliff once more, gunshots where storming, the more we ran up, the louder it was getting, blasting and man screamed, we set against a wall and peek by a corner, we saw we had the hand towards our enemy, that where attacking our comrades, my friend looked at me anxious, whispering to me "Are we going to die?" I respond to him, "Not while we have this gun's" He and I planned to divide into two different rocks as we only had 9. handgun, we needed to count every bullet, as we had the same amount of bullets as the amount of enemy soldiers; one of our friends saw us from the other side of the cliff, they had guns but were agro and cornered by two rocks as we were and the enemy was not placing down their guns for a second, we at the count of three, came out and precisely to our aim we started shooting, as half the enemy group, caught their attention to us, we feared the end is near, I won't deny I had no doubt on our death was that night, but with less fear my friend came out and took two down as all I saw was his blood on the ground, as his body followed the blood and his gun fell, there my eyes with anger, as I tossed a grenade and took three down, six to go is all I had in mind, then, I heard as one of the others of my comrade started shooting back, killing merciless and screaming to the lord, "Please give us the strength to carry on!" I came out and started to fight back...
