Poem
On a lovely coral reef, deep in the sea Surrounded by water Lillies, dancing so free There's a castle built of pearls and shells It's where Tatayana the water fairy dwells She is so beautiful with long golden hair Hypnotic blue eyes that captivate with each stare Little in size and stature with a glimmering tail She rides the sea on the back of Moby the Whale Both of them love to swim and explore Deep in the sea on the silky ocean floor Treasures can be found in the wrecks of sunken ships Stirring her imagination to make up stories of their trips Her father the King says she spends too much time exploring Wishes she would settle down and find some prince so adoring But Tatayana is very happy in her watery world of blue No troubles, no worries, nothing to ever bother you Her friend Moby is the best she has ever had The hours they spend make her happy and glad Without him she thought she just might die Or even worse she might start to breakdown and cry You see crying for water fairies was strictly taboo For she would lose her powers, then what would she do She'd become mortal and have to live on the land She couldn't imagine having feet and walking on sand No she wouldn't cry, for those pearls she didn't need Yes, water fairies tears are what makes a pearls seed She'd just continue on her very merry way And forget about what her father might say Sooner or later she'd meet a handsome prince she knew But until that time she just wouldn't be blue Up onto Moby's back she sat ever so high The light shining through the water was her golden sky Her father was calling her to come in "Tatayana come in girl, enough of your whim" But Tatayana ignored him, and she and Moby sailed on Smiling as she sang softly a lovely water fairies song
